St Albans Watercress Wildlife Association

David Bellamy

The WWA site was formally opened in September 1992 by the world famous environmentalist, David Bellamy.

He said, "Environmental communty projects such as this are just as important in a local sense as say, saving the Rain Forest."

"Not only do they provide an important contribution to environmental conservation, but also are a natural source of education for young and old, an inspiration for similar projects across the country, and of course, a site of natural beauty."

We could always do with more help and you would be very welcome.

The easiest way of contacting us is by sending an email to the Chairman
or you could join us.
